Dupont Zodiaq® is 93% pure quartz crystal. This matrix gives Zodiaq its natural depth and radiance. Manufactured in Canada quartz is one of nature's strongest materials. On a hardness scale it rates a 7 out of 10 (only diamonds rate a 10). It is also incredibly durable and resists both heat and scratches. It has a high gloss finish that is smooth to the touch and does not have any pitting. Some of the colors of Zodiaq also have veining patterns giving it a unique look compared to other quartz products (Okite Collection). The benefit of all quartz products are that they do not requires any ongoing maintenance.

Terra Collection: These special colors of Zodiaq are made with 50% pre-consumer recycled glass. This collection can help contribute towards U.S. Green Building Council LEED points for Materials and Resources (MR), Building Reuse, MR Regional Materials, Environmental quality (EQ) Low Emitting Materials - Adhesives and Sealants.

VIEW ZODIAQ COLORS HERE LG VIATERA^® Viatera was introduced by LGin 2005 as a new quartz line to the industry. Viatera is manurfactured in Italy and like other quartz products mimics the look of natural stone without the maintenance requirements of a marble or granite. Like all of the LG countertop surfaces, Viatera is backed by a 15 year transferable warranty. It comes in 22 colors available in 3CM (aprox. 1 - 1/4") thickness for use in horizontal and vertical applications. CAESARSTONE^® Caesarstone® is another line of quartz surface that is made of 93% natural quartz. One of the benefits of Caesarstone is that it comes with a residential Lifetime Warranty (Effective 2/15/2008). This warranty originates from the date of the installation when fabricated and installed by a Caesarstone Certified Fabricator (ALPS is a Caesarstone Certified Fabricator). Commercially it comes with a 10 year limited warranty. Caesarstone also comes with the GOOD HOUSEKEEPING Seal of approval.
